Glenn Lenhard is from Rochester, New York where he attended advanced high school studies at the Eastman School of Music. He studied under Robert Jones and Donald Hunsberger, and was trained in the Emory Remington style of playing, the Professor of Trombone at the Eastman during that time. Since then, he has been a versatile free-lance musician in the Tampa bay area, performing as the Principal Trombonist with the Tampa Bay Symphony for 23 seasons under the directorship of Jack Heller. He can also be found playing with local Jazz groups and big bands such as Bob Boyd's 42nd Street Band, and in local musical productions and church groups. . |
