Text Box: Glenn Lenhard is from Rochester, New York where he attended advanced high school studies at the Eastman School of Music. He studied under Robert Jones and Donald Hunsberger, and was trained in the Emory Remington style of playing, the Professor of Trombone at the Eastman during that time. Since then, he has been a versatile free-lance musician in the Tampa bay area, performing as the Principal Trombonist with the Tampa Bay Symphony since 1985 first under the direction of Jack Heller, and currently Mark Sforzini. He can also be found playing with local Jazz groups and big bands such as Bob Boyd’s 42nd Street Band, and in local musical productions and church groups. 

Currently he can be heard playing with The Tomkats playing every Monday night at the Blue Parrot on St. Pete Beach. You can also catch him  performing with Late Night Brass and The Jazz Cellar Band with Dick Ramore.
